Dear Gallatin R-V School District Families and Community Members,
Following the successful passage of our bond issue, one of our commitments has been to keep the community informed as these projects move forward. I would like to share an update on the progress of our bond-funded construction projects.
Elementary Playground & Roofing Project
Construction of the new elementary playground is entering its final phase. Work completed to date includes demolition of the existing playground, removal of rock and concrete, and relocation of playground equipment from the preschool playground.
The remaining playground equipment is expected to arrive during the week of August 3, with installation beginning immediately and completion anticipated approximately one week later.
The elementary roofing replacement project is also scheduled to begin on July 27, providing important improvements that will help protect our facilities for years to come.
Middle School Addition
Planning continues to move forward on the middle school addition as architects and engineers finalize construction documents. This project is being carefully designed to meet the educational needs of today's students while providing flexibility for future growth. Additional updates will be shared as new milestones are reached.
Pre-K Classroom & High School Gymnasium Renovations
Renovations continue to move forward. Demolition is complete, and painting is underway. Ceiling tile installation is scheduled for this week, with flooring, plumbing, and cabinetry to follow as these updated learning spaces near completion.
At the High School Gymnasium, crews are stripping the old paint in preparation for two coats of primer and two finish coats of paint, giving the facility a refreshed look.
These projects represent more than improvements to our facilities—they are an investment in our students and the future of Gallatin R-V Schools. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and confidence as we continue Building Today and Investing in Tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Mr. Brady
