The Gallatin R-V School District is hiring a full-time school counselor for Pre-K through 4th grades for the 2025-26. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and student-centered with the ability to deliver a comprehensive school counseling program. The program should meet the career, academic, and social-emotional needs of students. The counselor will provide brief counseling for individual students and groups, counsel them through the development of educational and career plans, and refer severe problems to appropriate community resources. Paraprofessional

Gallatin School District is seeking experienced paraprofessionals for openings in the elementary and middle school.

Responsibilities for paraprofessional:

Assist teacher with lessons and daily classroom activities, communicate with children and help them understand lessons, prepare the classroom setting to promote a healthy learning environment, ensure classroom safety standards are met at all times, monitor children with particular attention to those with special needs, engage with children to enhance learning, and perform clerical tasks as required. Qualifications for Paraprofessionals: Must be able to obtain proper certification. (60 hours of college credit or pass the ParaPro exam). Experience in helping teachers in a classroom environment desired. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, good understanding of the educational system, strong interpersonal and social attributes, disciplined and diligent nature, enthusiastic and passionate about teaching, patient with children including those with special needs, ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
