School Food Authorities,

Thank you so much for working quickly with your district colleagues to send the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) information to your families. DESE FNS has already received nearly 40,000 applications! We have a few pieces of follow-up information to share:

· We now have a P-EBT Paper Application in Spanish available for you to send to families that need it.

· The P-EBT Letter to Families mentions an “Attachment A.” That is actually the P-EBT Eligibility Criteria document. We will update the letter to make that clearer.

· We have received quite a few CEP and Special Provision questions. Students who received free meals while enrolled in a Special Provision school is eligible for this benefit. They must submit an application.

At this time, DESE FNS is not posting these documents to our webpage. We would like families to receive the documents from their school district, as this will help limit the ability for individuals that do not have eligible PK-12 children to submit fraudulent claims. School leaders and school food authorities that have questions may contact DESE Food and Nutrition Services directly. At this time, DESE FNS is quickly reviewing applications and we will NOT be taking phone calls from families concerned about their benefit. Please do not give our contact number out to families asking about the status of their benefit. Once the application has been reviewed by DESE the applications goes to DSS for processing. Families may contact FSD.MOPEBT@dss.mo.gov.

And in case you need them again, here are the important P-EBT documents:

· P-EBT Letter to Families

· P-EBT Eligibility Criteria

· P-EBT Online Application

· P-EBT Paper Application (hard copy to fill out and email or mail to DESE if someone is not able to submit the application online)

· P-EBT Frequently Asked Questions

Please click here for online access to the Gallatin R-V School District lunch menu. You will need to select "Gallatin R-V School District" and then select Gallatin High School or Covel D. Searcy Elementary to view the menu for that school building. You will then need to select breakfast or lunch, and you will have the option to filter menu items by selected allergens and find out the nutritional values and components in individual items and meals.

These apps are available for Apple and Android devices.
